My cousin Damaris and I are very close and more like sisters. I am so thankful for the blessing that she is and how loving she is. A few weeks back during the summer, she and I decided we wanted to try a Stuffed Peppers recipe that we saw on the "Today" Show. So, here is how we spent a Friday night in August.
I chose the music for the cooking adventures. Disney on Broadway ruled the night and both soundtracks were fun to sing along to and fun to listen to.
After getting the music going we needed fun drinks, so I had coffee and Maris had hot chocolate with a little cinnamon. How great are those mugs?
While watching the "Today" show one morning, we saw this recipe and thought we should try it.
In the process of cutting the peppers.
THE FINISHED PRODUCT!
Maris models with the food.
Cooking this meal with my cousin taught me something. Life isn't perfect and you will make mistakes, but you can still enjoy the journey. While cooking, we made a few mistakes and a bit of a mess, but we also had a great time together. During this experience we decided to cook something together at least one Friday a month, so look out for more posts about what we are cooking up.
If you would like to try the recipe I added the link down below! Thanks for reading!
Also, if you have a recipe we should try, let me know!
